About Us:

Squiffys RestaurantThe restaurant, added to the Jolly Coopers in December 1997, opened its doors with an 'a la carte' menu created by our very own chef Vinny.

We produced a new 'specials' menu daily!

Firm favourites were soon established and requested so often by customers that they became permanent fixtures on the menu.

In 2008, we decided to change Squiffy’s radically.

After extensive research in Barcelona we created the menu you see before you today.

EveningOur eclectic tapas menu has been described by a customer recently as “Tapas with an Asian Fusion”.

If you get past the tapas course, there is a selection of main courses designed to compliment the tapas.

For the more 'traditionally minded' amongst you we also have Some Classics like the Squiffy Burger, 100% Meat from Shaun's Quality Meats, where we buy all our meat. Slow Roasted Pork Belly, Pasta & good old Fish & Chips to name a few.

Lunch TimeOur Lunch menu is designed around traditional pub food, and with some of our signature tapas dishes thrown in for good measure, but... everything is predominantly home made and all cooked on the premises.... Like our Scoth eggs and sausage rolls .... a rare thing these days!

We have a wide menu, from starters containing good old favourites, to full lunches served with fresh vegetables. Mrs Squiffy's home made pies really are all home made! We have mini daily Specials for those who require a bit more than a sandwhich but not a full meal.

Try our jacket potatoes, or choose from an extensive sandwich menu made with many varieties of bread.
